    Fernando Polo is a member of, and strategic manager at, Territorio Creativo, a social media marketing consultancy. In 2001 he co-founded a social network monitoring service, and has carried on working with web 2.0 ever since.

    Fernando Rueda Rieu, who was born in Madrid and studied journalism at the Universidad Complutense, is Spain's foremost expert in espionage. He began his career as an investigative journalist for the newspaper Ya and the weekly paper Época, and has been sub-editor of the magazines Tiempo and Interviú. He has also worked on several television and radio programmes.

    Fernando Savater (in San Sebastián, 1947) has degrees in Philosophy and Ethics. An essayist, journalist, novelist and playwright, he has published more than forty-five books, some of which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. His best known works include La infancia recuperada, Ética para Amador, Diccionario filosófico and El valor de educar.

  • Ferran Adrià

    Ferran Adrià (L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, 1962) is one of the most renowned chefs in the world. A year after starting work at El Bulli in 1983, he was named head chef. Since then, the restaurant in Cala Montjoi has distinguished itself for its culinary innovation, which has given rise to a significant number of new concepts, techniques and production processes that are now well-established in kitchens in Spain and abroad.

    Ferrán Martínez i Coma (Barcelona, 1977) graduated in Political Science and Public Administration from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona in 1999. He got a scholarship from the Juan March Foundation, of which he is a Doctor member and received his Ph.D. in Sociology in 2005. He got scholarships from the Caja Madrid Foundation and the Fulbright Commission, in both cases to continue his predoctoral research at Harvard University.
