Albert Martínez is Master of Animal Medicine in the Veterinary Faculty of UAB and scierntific director of the Centro de Recuperación de Anfibios y Reptiles, Catalonia.
Álvaro Gómez Vieites has PhDs in: Economics and Business Administration from UNED (Distinction), Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad de Vigo (End of Course Distinction) and Information Management Engineering from UNED. He completed his education with various postgraduate courses, including Executive MBA and Diploma in Business Adminstration from the Escuela de Negocios Caixanova. He has been Director of Information Control aand Management Systems at the latter and assistant director of SIMCe.
Abilio Estévez was born in Havana in 1954 and currently resides in Barcelona. He graduated in Hispanic Language and Literature and studied philosophy in his hometown. He has written two superb novels unanimously acclaimed by the critics, Tuyo es el reino, worthy of the 1999 Cuban Critics Award and in France, the Prize for Best Foreign Book in 2000, and Los palacios distantes, selected by La Vanguardia as Book of the Year in 2004, both translated into over eight languages.

He is currently a professor in the Department of Company Organization and Commercialization at the University of Santiago de Compostela. His principle fields of interest tie in with the analysis of ecological and carbon footprints, and the application of this data for goods and services organizations.

Adrià Sardó (1917) studied violin and composition in the Conservatorio de Barcelona. As a concertmaster, she has been a founding member of the Orquesta Municipal de Barcelona for 35 years. She receives mentoring form Napoleone Anovazzi and Eduard Toldrà. She also conducts various companies, such as the Ballet del Gran Teatro de Liceo orchestra and the Ópera de Cámera de Barcelona. She founded the Calonge music school, where she teaches violin and orchestral conducting.
Adrián Huici was born in 1955 in Bahía Blanca (Argentina). He has a ph.D. in Spanish Philology and is a professor at the Faculty of Communication Science in the University of Seville,. His several books and essays, all of them published by Alfar, correspond to the two sides of his academic life: that of literature and that of communication.
Agustín Blasco is professor of Animal Genetics at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. He has been a visiting researcher at animal research laboratories in Edinburgh and Paris and at the FAO in Rome. He has published at least a hundred articles in research magazines, taken part in numerous international congresses and given courses and lectures in the US, Australia, South America and various European countries. He teaches Ethics and Animal Welfare at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
