Philip Giordano was born in 1980 close to Savona in Italy, the son of a Swiss-Italian father and a Philippine mother. He studied illustration at the Istituto Europeo di Disegno in Turín, where he later took a Masters in Animation Technique. In 2004 his illustrations were selected for the Mostra degli Illustratori at the Children's Book Fair in Bologna. In 2006 he participated in the Salon du Livre, Montreuil, Paris, where he received the 'Prix des Adultes' and the 'Prix des Médiateurs' in 2009.
Pilar Fernández Uriel id a Doctor of Ancient History and director of the Department of Ancient History at UNED. She is a member of a variety of associations and academic institutions and The Academia Real acaddemic advisor for the History of the Spanish Enclave of Melilla. She carries out the greater part of her research with the Museo Nacional de Arte Romano, Mérida, on the I+D+I research project on Roman Portugual, headed by Trinidad Nogales and in the UNED GEA group. Among her publications with UNED are: El mundo griega, Purpura: Del mercado al poder.
Pilar Jericó is a Doctor of Business Organization and has a degree in Economic and Business Sciences.
