Óscar Lbato (Madrid, 1958) is a journalist and writer. In the first of these facets he has more than 20 years' professional experience as a specialist in questions related to security, defence and the environment. This is his second novel after 'Cazadores de humo', Alfaguara 2007.
Óscar Morán Esquerdo is a physical education instructor, national weight-lifting and body building coach, sports fitness technician, sports nutritionist and martial arts expert. He has owned and managed a number of gymnasia, set up and edited fitness and body building magazines, in addition to lecturing in various universities.
Óscar T. Pérez is an illustrator and graphic designer who works in various fields related to the creation of images. He has illustrated several children's books. He is a weekly contributor to the daily newspaper ABC, and regularly works in advertising and animation.
Osvaldo Reyes began by reading adventure books (Emilio Salgari, Jules Verne), but at the age of eleven he was given Agatha Christie's Sparkling Cyanide. This was his first encounter with the genre of detective fiction and the reason for his desire to explore its roots (Edgar Allan Poe), its classics (Hammett, Chandler…) and its modern developments in the hands of authors of different nationalities, with a special predilection for Central American writers.
