    Pep Castellano and Canto Nieto are a lively and cheerful couple. They have written and illustrated (and also told) stories for older people such as ‘Marta Martí, Reina del Rodolí’ or ‘Jaume, el Gos i l’Humà Rabiós’ amongst others, and as they seem to have acquired a taste for it, we look forward to even more.

  • Carla Montero Manglano

    Carla Montero Manglano was born in Madrid on 14th August 1973. She is a Law and Business Administration Graduate. She is an articulate, media-savvy, intelligent and charming woman and the mother of four children. She is also a member of our club. Her passion for reading and writing started early on and with this, her first novel Una dama en juego / Lady at stake (presented to the prize under the title Mi amada Kali/ Beloved Kali) she has won the Premio Círculo de Lectores de Novela 2009.

     

  • Carles Arbat

    Carles Arbat (Bescanó, Girona, 1973) has extensive professional experience. He graduated in 1997 in Applied Arts and Artistic Trades, specialising in Graphic Design. He won the competition for the Cartel del Salón del Libro Infantil y Juvenil in 2000, the Premio Lazarillo illustrator’s award in 2002 and the Premi Llibreter for illustrated books in 2005.

  • Carles Bosch

    Carles Bosch was born in Barcelona on September 8, 1952. He has been a reporter for Televisión de Cataluña's programme '30 minuts' since its creation in 1984. While working for Catalan television he has covered such transcendental international events as the wars in the Gulf, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Kosovo. He has witnessed the revolutions in Iran, Czechoslovakia and the Phillipines, as well as the Zapatatista revolution in Mexico and Chávez's in Venezuela.

  • Carles M. Canals

    Carles M. Canals (Barcelona, 1956) has a degree in Media Studies by the University of Navarra. He was a political and economic editor for Europa Press Catalunya (1982-1987) and then correspondent for the financial newspaper Expansión in Barcelona (1987-1992). He was an editor for Expansión in Madrid and head of various sections (1992-1996). He was secretary of the editorial committees of Expansión and Actualidad Económica and a coordinator and business correspondent also for Actualidad Económinca.
