  • Xosé A. Neira Cruz

    Neira Cruz was born in Santiago de Compostela in 1968. A witer, journalist and professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the Universidad de Santiago, he is editor of the magazine Fadamorgana. He is one of Galicia's most significant authors for children and young people. Noteworthy prizes he has received include the Merlín, the Barco de Vapor (both received twice), the Lazarillo and the Raíña Lupa prize.

  • Xosé Manuel González 'Oli'

    Xosé Manuel González 'Oli' (Cangas, 1960).
    Professor of Early Years Education, writer and specialist in Children's Literature. A co-director of the 'Siete Leguas' collection from KALANDRAKA, the publisher of picture books 'Once damas atrevidas' and 'Pirata pata de lata'. He works with other publishers such as Xerais, Galaxia and Ir Indo.

  • Xosé Monteagudo

    Xosé Monteagudo (Moraña, 1965) is a law graduate and began his literary career when he was runner-up in the Modesto R. Figueiredo prize in 2001 for the short story 'O engado do triángulo'. His first novel, As voces da noticia, won the Premio Blanco Amor in 2002; in this work, the author uses transcriptions of taped material, e-mails, interviews and even judicial acts to weave a plot in which each of the author's voices reflects his perception of the events.

  • Xosé Ramón Marinno Ferro

    Ramón Mariño Ferro teaches anthropology at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and has published widely on the popular culture of Galicia, with such successful works as: Contos de homes e mulleres (Stories about Men and Women), Serpes e dragóns (Serpents and Dragons), O demo e o trasno (Demons and Gnomes), Contos marabillosos (Miraculous Stories), Lobos, lobas e lobishombres (Wolves, She-wolves and Werewolves) and Aparicións da Santa Compaña (Processions of the Holy Company), all published by Edicions do Cumio.

  • Xosé Tomás

    Xosé Tomás graduated in English Philology from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and has done doctoral courses in Linguistics at Universidad de A Coruña. He lives in Betanzos and now works as an illustrator and English teacher at the IES Melide. He regulaly works with a number of publishing houses and media organs. He did tertiary studies in Linguistics (Historical Sociolinguistics)  at the Universidad de A Coruña and is a member of the Galician Association of English Teachers.
