Ana García-Siñeriz is a Spanish presenter. She graduated in Journalism and Mastered in Radio at Spanish National Radio and the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She began her professional career in radio as an announcer and local editor in a station in Pozuelo. Later she directed the Spanish Television programme "Hablando Claro" (1988-1989), going on to work as an editor and news presenter at the television channel Canal Plus, where she also presented the film programme "Primer Plano" during the 1993-1994 season.
Ana was born in Huelva, Spain, although in her heart she'll always be a madrileña, since she's lived all but one year of her life in Madrid. When she was a kid her parents signed her up for art classes when they noticed that she drew all over her homework, and she's been drawing ever since!. While at university she used to paint huge paintings and swore to herself that she'd never work with a computer...now she spends the better part of her days in front of one doing graphic design.
Born in Madrid, Jiménez Ganica graduated in Ancient History in 1976 with a dissertation on 4th century Latin panegyrics. In 1977 she was awarded a Research Training Grant from the MEC to write her doctoral thesis, which was published in 1983 (Orígenes y desarollo del reino visigodo de Tolosa. 418-507). The following year she was awarded a grant by the French government to continue her research at the University of Toulouse Le-Mirail. In 1979 she passed the exams to become a secondary school teacher, and has been developing her teaching work in parallel with her research.
Ana Manrique studied fine art and alternates painting with writing, working as an editor, translator and scriptwriter. She is the author of the novels 'Nadie dura siempre' (Barataria, 2003) and 'No es tan fácil llevar bragas' (Temas de Hoy, 2010).
Ana María Arias de Cossio (La Laguna, 1946) is a Doctor of Art History, University of La Laguna, where she also taught for 3 years. Since 1975 she has worked at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she is now Professor of Art History. She was a director of the Department of Art II: Renaissance and Baroque from 1997 to 2005 and has published 10 books under her own name, in addition to numerous contributions to edited editions and articles in academic journals.
Ana Maria Guasch is Professor of Art History in the Universidad de Barcelona and an art critic.
Born in Barcelona in 1925, Ana María Matute is one of the most distinguished writers in Spanish literature. This is well
illustrated by the numerous and renowned prizes she has been awarded: the Critics Award, the Nadal Prize, the Fastenrath Award given by the Real Academia Española, the Planeta Prize
and the National Children’s Literature Prize, among others. In 2007 she was awarded the National Prize for Spanish Letters for her career.
She is also a member of the Real Academia Española and the Hispanic Society of America.
Ana Miralles (Madrid, 1959) has published comic strips in the Spanish and French markets. These include 'Marruecos, mon amour' and the Eva Medusa trilogy (Glénat), which were scripted by Antonio Segura, as well as numerous collaborations with Emilio Ruiz. Since 2000, working with scriptwriter Jean Dufaux, she has created the series 'Djinn' (Norma), of which there have been ten installments, out of a planned 13 strips.
