Juan Martos Quesada was born in Jaén in 1953. He has a Phd in Semitic Philology by the University of Granada, with a thesis in Islamic Law in al-Andalus. Currently he is the Director of the Arab Studies Department at Madrid University.
He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Education of the University of Granada and holds a PhD in Language and Literature Didactics. Among other books he has published Como mirar a la luna.

Juan Pablo Villalobos was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1973. He studied marketing and Spanish literature.
Juan Pedro García Palomo studied geology at the Complutense de University of Madrid and has a doctorate in economy from the Autónoma University of Madrid and an Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. He has worked for over 20 years in the principle IT multinationals of the world: ESRI, XEROX, SIEBEL, ORACLE y SAP, always in relation to the world of sales. At the same time he has worked as a trainer in the areas of marketing, sales and IT systems at institutions such as the University of Extremadura, UNED, University de Comillas, Instituto de Empresa and IDECESEM.
Juan Rulfo (Comala 1917). His literary renown stands up to scrutiny: 'El llano en llamas', published in 1953, and the novel 'Pedro Páramo, published in 1955. Rulfo is considered one of the great masters of Spanish-language fiction.
Juan Scaliter was born in 1971. He began his career as a journalist in Argentina, editing the Latin American version of 'Muy Interesante' for several years. In 2003 he arrived in Spain where he started working for the magazine 'Quo' and has done so continuously ever since. He has published numerous articles in the magazine 'GEO', collaborated on scientific programmes for radio and television, and is the author of 'Quo' magazine's blog 'La Ciencibilidad'.
