After studying physics and some literary theory, Toni Pou travelled widely, and worked as a submarinist in Malaysia, a trainer for maths and physics olympiads, and as a writer of encyclopedias, amongst other jobs. Apart from this, he has continued to work in journalism and science education. He has worked for various publishers, media and educational centres. Recently, his professional activity has centred on the publishing sector and literary creation.

Toti Martínez de Lezea was born in Vitora in 1949. She was the founder of the theatre group Kukubiltxo. She has worked as a translator, scriptwriter and director of educational videos and children’s TV. Toti’s books have been translated to French, German and Portuguese and she collaborates regularly with the media.
