JOSEP M. ROMERO (Barcelona, 1956) has been travelling from the age of seventeen, first hitchhiking throughout Europe, then in Asia, at the time when it was being rediscovered by hippies, and later on other continents. He also participated in the Rael adventure, the first Spanish sailing boat ever to arrive in Antarctica. As a result of these trips he has written several books, among which the Altaïr Guide of India, the travel story El Jardín de Hielo, the recipe book El libro de la cocina exótica and the detective novel Mortal Sahel - in Catalan.
Josep Maria Rovira Belloso was born in Barcelona in 1926. He graduated in Law in 1948 and was ordained into the priesthood in 1953. In 1956, he earned his doctorate in Theology from the Pontificia Università Gregoriana of Rome with his thesis entitled La visión de Dios según Enrique de Gante (which was published in 1960) directed by the Jesuit theologian Joan B. Alfaro.
Josep Maria Salrach Marès (1945) is a Doctor of Medieval History from the University of Barcelona, where he tought until 1993.
Josep Maria Vallés studied agronomic engineering in Barcelona and Lleida. He has collaborated in projects in the Venezuelan plains and the Bolivians Andes. He has been worked as a gardener for several years and nowadays he is a teacher. For more than ten years he has grown vegetables in a terrace and this hobby inspired him to write Tarpuna´s, Sustainable Initiatives.

Josep Piera (Beniopa, La Safor, 1947) is a poet, essayist and writer. His poetry has been collected in Dictats d’amor (Poesia 1971-1991), En el nom de la mar (1999) and in Cants i encants (2004). He has studied and translated the Arabic Valencian poets in his essay El paradís de les paraules (1995).
Disciple of Taltabull and Leibwitz, he follows the tradition which they taught him: musical emotion sustained by a technique and a structure which are developed to their maximum.
Josep Soler Sala was born on 18th May 1965 in Badalona. Since 1987 he usually suffered from a shoulder pain apparently caused by playing basket ball. He tried alternative medicine in 1989. He also approached taoism, yoga and Chinese medicine. In 1993 he travelled through India and Nepal. While travelling he suffered more pain and discomfort.
