Enrique Rojas
Enrique Rojas, a professor of Psychology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and director of the Instituto Español de Investigaciones Psiquiátricas, is part of a generation of humanist scientists that has a long tradition in Spain and in the rest of Europe. He was awarded the Premio Conde de Cartagena of the Real Academia de Medicina de Madrid for his work about depression and Médico Humanista del Año in Spain (1995) and his work has been translated into numerous languages. His research work has focused on two issues: depressions and anxiety.

Vega Fernández ia a Colonel of Infantry in the reserve forces, with diplomas from the Chiefs of Staff and NATO Defence College. He has a degree in Psychology, a Masters in Peace, Security and Defence and a Doctorate in Peace and International Security. He has taken part in six multinational UN and NATO operations and served for six years in the General Subdirectorate of Foreign Affairs of the Spanish Ministry of Defence.
