    Maria Josep Picó y Garcés (Sagunto, 1973) is a journalist, writer and scientific educator. After gaining a degree in Information Sciences and working in various media, she specialised in environmental issues for the newspaper Levante-El Mercantil Valenciano. Later, she moved to Barcelona to set up and direct the magazine Nat, which educates the public about nature, the environment and science, published by Sàpiens Publicacions.
