Miguel Aguilar and Carlos García have won many fishing prizes and have published books and articles in specialist magazines. Miguel has won several sports photography contests, perfectly complementing his feats as a fisherman.
Given the truth of the phrase 'you're from where you went to university', I consider myself to be from Madrid, although I was born in a small town called Pueblo de Alcocer. My professional life has been dedicated to advertising, an often reviled activity, but one I feel proud of. I began over forty years ago and can truthfully say that I have made my way up the career ladder working in multinational companies. At present, I am president of BBDO, Spain, a communications group comprising 8 companies in Spain.
MIGUEL ÁNGEL CUESTA (El Vendrell, 1979) does not remember how long he has been fascinated by drawing. His earliest memories are always accompanied by pencils, pens and crayons. Years later he gradated in ilustration, began illustrating textbooks and working professionally as a graphic designer and press illustrator.
After several hundred covers, comic strips and children's puzzles, he decided to launch himself into the world of children's picture books, which he had always adored.
Cristina Durán (Valencia, 1970) and Miguel A. Giner Bou (Benetússer, 1969) are graduates from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Valencia. They met after the zine No Aparcar Llamo GRUA co-authored by Miguel A. thanks to the fact Cristina was the only girl in the course who wrote comics.
