Gervasio Posadas was born in Montevideo, studied in Spain, the Soviet Union, Uruguay and England, alternated with holidays at communist youth camps, Punta del Este or potato fields in East Anglia. During his career he has worked in different areas for major multinational advertising companies, but never in the creative area except in moments of great inner confusion. Infected by the crisis of the forties, he abandoned advertising some time ago and now devotes to other activities such as training.
GERVASIO SÁNCHEZ has been a journalist since 1984. He has been published in the Aragon Herald and La Vanguardia, as well as working with Cadena SER and the BBC. He has produced various photo books, including Kosovo, Niños de la Guerra; Sierra Leona, Guerra y paz; La caravana de la muerte; Las víctimas de Pinochet, Vidas minadas; and Sarajevo 1992-2008 (all published by Blume).
Glòria Marín (Sabadell, 1959) worked for many years as a teacher and since 1991 she hasn't stopped writing stories and plays for children and young people. She has published, among others, "Llufa, What a Skunk", "The Thirteen Hour Clock", "Skimmer" and "In Dakh I met".
Gloria PÉREZ SERRANO is Professor of Social Education at UNED. She edits the Interuniversity Social Education Magazine and heads the Masters course in Educational Intervention in Social Contexts. She has published many articles and research papers on social education, sociocultural motivation and the methodology of qualitative research.
Gloria Rosales and Gordana Vranjes are the founders of the Yoga school Mandiram, in Barcelona. They have studied the main styles in yoga and have worked with hundreds of students.
From their conviction that Yoga helps us to improve our lives and that everybody, regardless of their age and physical condition, can experience its benefits, they have created the Mandiram sequence: an integral approach for a healthy life, which is introduced for the first time in this book.
