AS we grow up we often repeat, as a kind of consolation, I suppose, that saying that we all have a child inside us. A child that was eaten up by this big and bitter body that the mirror now shows us each time we cautiously consult it: "mirror, mirror, on the wall...". But we are well aware that it's much better to be that child on the outside than to carry it within us; that is, to be the child.
Guille is an apparently happy child, always smiling, but you only have to scratch beneath the surface to feel that there's a mystery somewhere. Guille is an introverted child with a permanent smile, and he's a great reader with a lot of imagination. He only has one friend, a girl. So far, so good.
The work follows the life story of a woman as fascinating as she was unknown: the Spanish singer Lina Codina, muse and wife of the brilliant Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev. The first years of their marriage were spent in the Paris of the avant-gardes, where the couple moved in the most exclusive intellectual and artistic circles.
