This poem demonstrates Joana Raspall's ability to comprise in a few words a universal message that is easily understandable for the youngest readers. We are all human, our origins are partly due to coincidence, and our responsibilities are to help each other. The colour of our skin, our language, food, clothes and games might all be different, if we are born in a different place. Some things might be better, others worse, but what is true is that we are all people with the same feelings and needs, and that nobody is exempt from making mistakes. That's why solidarity should be the priority for everybody. This simple idea, expressed in verse for children and adults, is an emotive homage to anybody who has been forced to leave their home.
