This is a book about the Sagrada Familia temple, different to all others that can be found in bookshops. It brings together conversations with an exceptional witness to Gaudí's human and artistic experience: Etsuro Sotoo, the elderly Japanese sculptor who arrived in Barcelona as a young man over 30 years ago and became fascinated by the mystery pulsing inside and behind those stones. The attention to Sotoo's work in the Sagrada Familia, inseparable from the way he gazed absorbedly and profoundly at Gaudí and, above all, 'towards where Gaudí himself was looking', together with the magnificent new photos by Marc Llimargas, the most important photographer of Gaudí's work, make this book a visual poem that allows us to become engrossed in the meaning and spirituality of one of the most famous temples in the world.
