The technological paradigm shift to which photography has been subject over the last few years has not only revealed the photographic nature of our culture, but has also shaken some of the foundations that appeared to be an unseparable part of the medium. In the laid-back, ironic tone that has always characterized Joan Fontcuberta's writing, La cámara de Pandora looks at the updating of this medium in the new digital environment in order to re-think those questions that go beyond the strictly photographic and to examine the new principals that have arisen with the new photography.
