At the height of summer, 1950, five adolescent girls at a convent boarding school play, for the last time, a game of 'Truth or Dare', which they call the 'clothes game', Two of them, the Viño twins, are about to start a new life, full of uncertainty, far away. This is a special moment and they know it, but none suspects that the night will represent a turning point for anyone but them, and that in fact it will change their lives for ever. Through the lives of five friends over thirty years, Care Santos creates a portrait of a generation of women who had to forge their own destinies at a time when the hypocrisy of those determined to keep up appearances at any cost came up against new ideas on friendship, love and freedom.
