12 April, 1097. A tall, thin man arrives at the little castle of Dornoch; he is slightly bent over and has a deformed nose. It is Macbeth, son of Macbeth, king of Scotland, and he is here to be reunited with Fleance, son of Banquo, to whom he is linked by a story of crimes and blood. 40 years have gone by since king Macbeth died, his head cut off in revenge for one of the crimes he plotted in order to get on the throne. What can these two old men be after, in their sixties and barely able to stand up? It's a duel without daggers, with unvertain rules and distant origins, a duel of words and memories, of prophecies and revenge, but nonetheless a ferocious fight. After this encounter, a whole night of events, secrets and confessions will run its course, followed by a decisive battle.
