These are the confessions of Nicolás Pertusato, a boy who fate obliges to participate in extraordinary events, unknown until today. This young man whose portrait appears in Las Meninas tells us of his life, the struggle to maintain his dignity despite his particular physical condition and, finally, his enigmatic relationship with the painter Velázquez, which will lead him to undertake a difficult endeavour.
