La noche de los lobos
It's night, and a group of Viking pirates are sacking a village, planning on returning to their ship with a few slaves. As they land on the beach they hear some strange sounds. Shortly afterwards, hundreds of arrows rain down upon them. The few survivors are taken prisoner by a demented-looking horde.
Just as they're about to take them away, a shape on the pirate ship catches their attention. One of the men prods it with his javelin and discovers a little boy, some 12 years old, covered with a silk cape stitched in gold.
Elsewhere, a young girl & a ghost lament the loss of prized object that has fallen down a well.
And close by, at Dama Bibiana castle, a seneschal, a duke and a prince arrive with an urgent message. As the royal cupbearer (and part-time poisoner) serves them wine, the 3 begin to speak. It seems the king is dying… and the heir to the throne, Baldwyn, has disappeared.
