Roser Rimbau y Rocío Araya

Roser Rimbau (1968) has published a dozen books with publishers including Takatuka, Publicacions de l'Abadia de Montserrat and La Galera. She was awarded the 2006 Comte Kurt prize for 'Naïm ha perdido el color' ('"Naïm Has Lost His Colour'), which was published by Galera and, together with Cesc Pujol, won the 2018 Conte Infantil Il·lustrat Modest Prats prize awarded by the Fira del Conte de Medinyà for 'El planeta esborrat' ('The Erased Planet').
Rocío Araya, who provided the illustrations, has had work published by various Spanish publishers and also the Swiss publishing house Notari. Her work as been selected for inclusion in over twenty exhibitions in Spain, France and Chile. In 2016 three of her illustrations from 'Pájaros en la Cabeza' ('Birds On My Head') were included in the Ilustrarte children's illustration biennial in Lisbon. In 2017 she took part in the international 'Imagini de la fantasia' exhibition in Sarmede, Italy.
