Aurora realises that her true future is in this exciting country, not in a Spain burdened by struggle. In love with Pablo Aliaga, a young Spaniard full of dreams of fortune and glory and obsessed with finding three rolls of a cursed film that disappeared in 1936, Aurora strikes up a friendship with an enigmatic German woman who runs a brothel that hides many a mystery. Fate will lead our young protagonist to choose between the past and the present.
