Jordi Roca’s desserts
Jordi Roca is the pastry chef at El Celler de Can Roca. His creations are a stimulating profusion of imagination, daring and freshness, which has turned him into one of the benchmarks of dessert cuisine both nationally and internationally. Restless and curious, the young chef explores the limits of culinary creativity giving a fun, carefree touch to all his creations.
The International Academy of Gastronomy awarded the Prix de la Littérature Gastronomique 2011 to Los postres by Jordi Roca.
El Celler de Can Roca occupies second place on the list of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World 2012 (www.theworlds50best.com). It has stayed in the same place since 2011.
2010. Paco Torreblanca prize for Best Pastry Chef of the Year, awarded by the Real Academia Española de Gastronomía.
2009. Prize for Best Dessert of the Year, awarded by the ‘Lo mejor de la Gastronomía’ guide.
2006. Prize for Best Dessert Menu and for Best Dessert of the Year, awarded by the ‘Gourmetour’ guide.
2004. Prize for Best Pastry Chef in Girona, awarded by Tecnocast.
