A pioneering yoga teacher and Spanish Orientalist, Ramiro A. Calle is the author of over 200 works. In his Shaduk Yoga Centre, which he has run since 1971, he has taught hundreds of thousands of people. He is a great researcher into the Buddha and his thought, and a master of Buddhist meditation and yoga. In 2003 he won the Spirituality Prize for his work 'Grandes maestros espirituales' [great spiritual masters], and appears frequently in the media. He is the driving force behind the first medical-yogic investigations in our country. His last book, 'Ingeniería emocional' [emotional engineering], was a resounding success.
