JUAN JACINTO MUÑOZ RENGEL (Málaga, 1974)obtained his doctorate in Philosophy, and has taught in both Spain and the UK. He has worked on publications such as Anthropos, Insula, Clarin and El País. He is the author of the short story collections 'De mecánica y alquimia' (Salto de Página, 2009), finalist in the Setenil Prize for best short story book, and '88 Mill Lane' (Alhulia, 2006); he has coordinated and prefaced the short story anthologies 'Peturbaciones' (Salto de Página 2009) and 'Ficción Sur' (Traspiés 2008); and he featured in two noteworthy anthologies of his generation, 'Pequeñas Resistencias' (Páginas de Espuma 2010) and 'Siglo XXI' (Menoscuarto 2010).
