Amalgama has just released Trobades amb Joaquim Homs, a book of conversations between the Catalan composer and clarinetist Oriol Romaní. Romany was one of those people who have worried, especially during the last years of the life of Joaquim Homs (1906-2003) and after his death, to disseminate his works, especially by interpreting the works the composer wrote for clarinet, some of which were dedicated to him.
 
This book, therefore, brings us closer to the music and the world of Joaquim Homs from the conversations and encounters Oriol Romaní had with him since 1990. A book that brings us closer to the thoughts, personality and ideas of this Catalan composer. For Romaní "of the music that has recently been made in Catalonia and nearby areas, it is that by Homs the one we can truly enjoy to enrich ourselves and the generations that will follow us."
