Jordi Jauset (lleida, 1955) is a piano teacher and a telecommunications engineer. His various postgraduate studies took in Business as well as Biomedical Engineering. He finally specialised in Communications at the Ramón Llul University of Barcelona. He is currently a researcher and Professor of Economics and Statistics in the Blanquerna Communications Faculty, and a contributor at the Escuelas Universitarias Gimbernat and the Universidad Pompeu Fabra on topics related to the physical principles of sound and the psychology of music. Jauset's numerous publications include: Música y neurociencia: la musicoterapia (UOC, 2008); La musicoteràpia (UOC, 2009); and Sonido, música y espiritualidad (Gaia, 2010).
