Martí Perarnau

Martí Perarnau (Barcelona, 1955) was a highjumper who particpated in the 1980 Moscow Olympics. He won many titles and was a record holder in Spain in every category. As a journalist, he began running the sport sections of various newspapers in Barcelona as well as Televisión Española in Catalonia, during which time he also set up the legendary programme 'Estadio 2'. It's been 20 years since he left journalism to dedicate himself to the world of management, firstly as Director of the Municipal Press Centre for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and, later, in Madrid, as Director General of various audiovisual companies. Currently he runs his own advertising company and contributes in a journalistic capacity to a number of channels, including in Japan.
