Carmen Pacheco

Pacheco is a Spanish publicist and writer of children's and young peoples literature. She was born in Almeria in 1980 and graduated in Publicity and public Relations from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. Since then she has lived in the city, working as a copywriter at an agency. As a writer she has won the the Everest prize in 2007 with "Misterioso Asesinato en Oz", and in the following year she was a finalist in the Barco de Vapor prize with "Tres veces la mujer de gris". In 2009 she was a finalist in both the Barco de Vapor and the Gran Angular awards, although she did not win either of the two.
