LOLA LÓPEZ MONDÉJAR

Lola López Mondéjar (1958, Murcia) is a psychologist, psychoanalist and writer. She has published the novels 'Una casa en la Habana', 'Yo nací con la bossa nova', 'No quedará la noche' and 'Lenguas vivas'; the book of short stories 'El pensamiento mudo de los peces'; and the essay collection 'Psicoanálisis y creatividad: el Factor Munchhausen'. Between 1998 and 2009 she coordinated the literary programme 'La Mar de Letras' in Cartegena, and since 2005 has run creative writing workshops at Murcia's regional library. Her novel 'Mi amor desgraciado' was shortlisted for the XXI Torrente Ballester fiction prize. She regularly contributes to the Murcia newspaper La Opinión, for which she writes the blog Microscopías.
