David Hernández Sevillano

Poet and prose writer. Born in Segovia in 1977, his work revolves mainly around poetry, a genre in which he has excelled by obtaining the prestigious Hyperion Poetry Prize with El peso que nos une (The Weight that Unites Us, 2010) and the Miguel Hernández National Poetry Prize for Razones de más (Plenty of Reasons, 2009). In 2012 he won the Jaén Poetry Prize and in 2017 the Valencia Prize for Lo que tu nombre tiene de aventura (What's Adventurous about Your Name). In recent years he has turned to writing for children. He has published "De boca en boca y río porque me toca", "Arbolidades" and "¡Artista!".
