PAULA CARBALLEIRA

Fene, La Coruña, 1972. She studied Hispanic Philology. Since 1994 she has worked as an oral narrator. She has taken part in cultural projects in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Chile. As an actress, she is linked to the BERROBAMBÀN theatre company and has appeared in television dramas. As a writer, she has published several books of poetry, prose and children's literature, including ¡Lánzate, Pepa! (Jump In, Pepa!), Volcán (Volcano) and Benjamín, edited by Triqueta Verde. She was nominated this year for the prestigious Astrid Lindgren Memorial awards and selected in 2019 by the UK panel of NEWSPANISHBOOKS for her book BENJAMIN.
