Concha Pasamar

Concha Pasamar's professional life has mostly been spent in the area of Philology. Having always enjoyed drawing, in recent years she has redirected this interest towards illustration, and has taken various related courses and workshops with leading professionals. Press, music and education are some of the areas in which she has worked in this capacity, providing images for records, events and materials. She has led workshops on literary creation and the link between text and image and her images have adorned various children's books as well as novels for adults, among them, and also for bookolia, Arrecife y la fábrica de melodías (Arrecife and the Melody Factory), 13326 and Cuando mamá llevaba trenzas (When Mum Wore Plaits, 2019 Funndación Cuatrogatos prize). Her illustrations have also appeared in books by Cuento de Luz and Litera Libros.
