The Words the Wind Blew Away
Paloma Sánchez Ibarzábal (Madrid), writer. She began her explorations in children's literature in 2004, when she wrote The Wind Wizard, shortlisted for the Barco de Vapor prize. She has published twenty works, including novels and illustrated books. Her children's novel Echoes was shortlisted for the Lazarillo awards. Many of her books fit the readership aims of important publishers, as they deal with important values to be taught in schools. They have been translated into English. French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Korean. With Narvel she has published History of Nuk (2019, 2nd ed.). Mónica Calvo (Madrid), is an illustrator. She was selected as representative at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in 2010. She has illustrated several books published by Edelvives, Santillana, Anaya, SM, McGraw Hill and Narval. She studied graphic design in Madrid, where she lives.
