Critters, Love and Stuff
Iván Solbes is an Illustrator by vocation and, for twenty years, also by profession. He does many very different things and tries to make sure they all turn out well. What he likes best is to think up new ideas and draw them. One of these is his "Diario de Retratos" (Portrait Diary), an initiative that received huge social recognition. His first editorial work was "Mola tener 5 años" (It's Cool to Be 5), which won the Gold medal at the European Design Society Awards. 2019 was a critical year in his life, he lost the moustache and the book that took half a year to produce with José María Mayorga emerged: "Bichos, Amor y cosas" (Critters, Love and stuff).
