Rafaela Wait
Rafaela Wait was born in Cádiz, Andalusia (Spain).
The daughter of a merchant marine and a writer, they awakened in their children the pleasure for the Fine Arts since a very early age. Therefore, they enrolled Rafaela in the Music Conservatory “Manuel de Falla” (Cádiz), where she studied Music Theory and Piano.
Her school and bachelor years went by between two cities: Cádiz and Algeciras.
In 1984, she began Psychology Studies at the Seville University, but later she returned to Cádiz where she completed her studies at the U.N.E.D. In this University she obtained also a Masters degree in Behaviour Therapy.
He has worked in the area of socio-cultural activities, drug prevention programs, special educational needs and clinical child psychology.
In 1990 she got married and moved to Madrid. Her two children were born a few years later. From then on she began moving often: to Sóller (Mallorca), Geilenkirchen (Germany), Cádiz, Madrid and eventually to London (United Kingdom), where she currently resides and makes diplomatic life compatible with her literary work.
In 2009 she published “Sin Inside”, her first literary work.
