When Mom Wore Braids
Concha Pasamar's career has mostly been focused in the field of language. A habitual artist, in recent years she has redirected this practice towards illustration, where she studied various courses and workshops taught by prestigious professionals. Media, music and education are some of the areas where she has focused her work in this field, adding images to records, events and materials. In terms of literary creation and the connection between text and image, she has given various workshops, and her illustrations have adorned a number of children's books and prose books for adults, including "Arrecife y la fábrica de melodías" [Arrecife and the Melody Factory], "13326", "9 lunas" [9 moons] or "La cometa de los sueños" [The Kite of Dreams]. A tireless hard-worker and student, she is currently spending her time illustrating new picture book and poetry projects.
