Victoria and Kenji share a secret: the scars that cover their wrists. Her days are filled with counting calories and trying to prevent her sister forcing her to eat more than she considers necessary. He spends his life hiding the marks of his past beneath tattoos and working all night in a bar for rock aficionados. They are both alone, isolated from the world... until Kenji finds Victoria in the toilets of the bar where he works surrounded by a puddle of blood. Everyone thinks she has tried to kill herself because she has anorexia, because her boyfriend has just left her, because, in truth, it seemed inevitable. But nobody really understands her... until now. Victoria and Kenji go where life takes them and, inevitably, they end up meeting.
