Foto Autor Francisco Narla

Francisco Narla published this first novel in 2009, and in November 2010 his second work of fiction, Black Box, which was re-edited in 2015 and translated into several languages. In 2012 he wrote Assur, which gained public acclaim and topped the bestseller lists. And in 2013 he published Ronin, which marked him as one of Spain's most versatile and talented historical novel writers, a genre he has continued to embrace in his most personal work, Where the Hills Howl. In 2018 he won the 1st Edhasa Award for Historical Narrative for Laín the Bastard. Following the success of Laín in both sales and reviews, Francisco Narla presented his latest novel, Fierro. In 2019 he also published a new edition, revised and illustrated, of his first novel, The Wolves of the Rye.
