The afterworld of Antioquía
Rafael Laso was born in Xinzo de Limia but has lived in Vigo for several years. He has a degree in industrial engineering from the E.U.E.T.I in Vigo, the city in which he also works in his private company. His career as a writer began in 2005 with the publication of his book for children 'Por que Baldomero Quintáns?', which won the Pura e Dora Vázquez prize awarded by Ourense City Council. The following year, one of his stories won the Manuel Oreste Rodrígez prize organized by Paradella City Council. He is also the author of the novels 'Memoria contra Alzheimer (Edicións Xerais de Galicia, 2008) and 'A vida que non é' (Edicións Tambre). 'O trasmundo de Antioquía' is his third novel.
