Carmen Amoraga studied information science and has worked as a journalist she has been a columnist for the newspaper El LEvante, and taken part in literary discussions on Punto Radio, Radio 9, and Canal 9. She is currently Media Relations Adviser for the vice-chancellor's office at the Universitat de Valencia and publishes articles in Cartelera Turia .
Her first novel 'Para que nada se pierda' won the II Premio de Novela Ateneo Joven de Sevilla. After this she published 'La larga noche', Premio de la Crítica Valenciana, and 'Todas las caricias'. She was a finalist for the Premio Nadal 2007 with her novel 'Algo tan parecido al amor', which was a critical and popular success. She is also the author of 'Todo lo que no te contar´ån sobre la maternidad', a enjoyable book hapfway between essay and interview, and 'Palabras más, palabras menos'.
