Santiago García

García has written comics and about comics for over 20 years. With a degree in journalism from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and one in art history from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, he has worked since 2007 on the comics section of ABC's cultural supplement 'ABCD las artes y las letras'. Aside from La novela gráfica, he has written 3 books on comics, all under the name of Trajano Bermúdez: Mangavisión (1995), La noche del murciélago (1998), and El mapa de los sueños. Guía de lectura a Sandman (1999). He is co-author, as Pepo Pérez, of the comic El Vecino, of which 3 volumes of the planned 5 appeared between 2004 and 2009. With Javier Olivares he has published an adaptation of The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde, and with Javier Peinado the graphic novel La Tempestad (2008) and Héroes del espacio. La puerta del cielo (2009).
