One day Tina wakes up confused with her aching body covered in scars. She can't remember anything of her past, especially not the woman who keeps telling her that she is her aunt and has been looking after her the whole time since she fell into a state of lethargy following a terrible accident. Tina observes her from a distance whilst regaining her strength and trying to recover any memory that could help her understand what happened. It if wasn't for Loba, who visits her in secret, her resistance would crumble. Time passes and the questions start to build up: why is she covered in scars? Did she really have an accident? How long was she asleep for and where are her parents? What about her friends? But what Tina most wants to know is: Who exactly is she? Tina Frankens is an excellent recreation of the Frankenstein myth from a contemporary, female and brave perspective.
