Antonio Calzado

Antonio Calzado was born in Córdoba in October 1968. He studied geography and history at the Universidad de Córdoba, and later was an interim government official in the Andalucian autonomous administration. He has written all types of fiction since he was a teenager, winning numerous prizes as the author of short stories and tales. HIs first novel, 'El círculo del lobo (Almuzara, 2008), received unanimous praise from critics and readers. In 'Umbria', Calzado affirms his ability to create intrigue and universes that fascinate the reader due to their intensity and verisimilitude, and in which his characters develop in their search for ephemeral dreams.
