Inspired by La terre en rond, a mythical travel book about a round-the-world journey at the beginning of the sixties, undertaken by two Frenchmen in a Citroën 2CV, a young Galician called Jorge Sierra dreams of emulating their journey. After finding a companion ready to undertake the project, he prepares the 2CV he calls "Naranjito" for its orange bodywork. Before they set out, two other friends join the project with another 2CV. In September 2008 the two cars set out for France, but in Istanbul, after barely two months, Jorge is left alone. It is at that crucial moment that the book opens. A solo journey from Istanbul to Sydney, doing what he likes best: interacting with people and getting to know different cultures. Four years on the road filled with experiences and stories.
