The twentieth century is well into its second half. Society has learned how important it is for the happiness of wider society and of each and all of its members to suppress 'deviant' attitudes. Of course, in order to do this, it is essential to detect them in good time. It is clear to Lorea, the protagonist, how her world is advancing, its progress uninterrupted, towards an increasingly complete happiness, in pursuit of an ever more absolute perfection. And on this journey towards perfection, memory is a serious encumbrance and dreams weigh too much... But curiosity is part of being young, and Lorea will sate hers with the help of the mysterious 'Señora Y'. And so she will find herself compelled to move on from curiosity to action, at the same moment that the critical spirit, which the System wants to quell, sparks the flame of rebellion inside her.
