Ariete - Antología de la más joven narrativa cubana
Ariete is the result of a project which was started in 2014 by a group of very young writers who had studied at the Centro de formación literaria “Onelio Jorge Cardoso”. Most of them were unpublished and wanted to keep up contact, interaction and debate through writing workshops, events and literary clubs. Gradually new themes and strategies for promoting their work sprang from these meetings, including the creation of an online magazine entitled 'Mazorkazo', printed pamphlets, literary events around the island and a club for the performance of fiction, poetry and music which met at the head quarters of the Association of Cuban Writers and Artists. With the passage of time, the group has diversified with the arrival of new members, keen to share in the experience.
