Juan Hernaz, Fátima Fernández

Juan Hernaz (Gijón, 1975) is an illustrator and graphic designer who works with clients in Spain and abroad creating images for the worlds of publishing, publicity and theatre (sets). His work - characterised by thoughtful application and an approach that is metaliterary and crosses over from illustration into other disciplines - has been recognised with numerous prizes and awards both within and outside the country.

Fátima Fernández (Puerto de Vega 1972) has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Castilla-La Mancha and teaches at secondary school, including the Baccalaureate. She has written more than 12 books. Her work has been translated into ten languages. She has been included in more than thirty anthologies and received numerous prizes and recognition both in Spain and abroad.
